A painful rush of air rushed into Brandito's lungs, causing him to to begin coughing. As his coughing fit stopped his eyes slowly opened, looking straight up into sky. He stared at the moon which hung there in the night sky. He then placed his hand on his chest, soon letting off a light smile. Earlier he had felt the cold embrace of death, and now he was conscious. It was funny that the word conscious came to mind. He couldn't say "alive" since by feeling his chest he could feel his heart beat no more, but he wasn't dead since he was obviously staring at the moon. "Heh, I guess Im Undead now...or rather a hyphohybrid or whatever Katalyst said I'd turn into, guess I'd better talk to him now. More than likely he's been waiting on me to wake up"
Brandito lifted his legs into the air and quickly flipped himself into the air, landing on his feet. This flipped surprised him not because he had done it, but rather because of the strength he could feel from his body while doing it. He began to examine himself. He noticed that his body felt toned and his muscles bulged a bit. As he looked at his hands he noticed that his fingernails had turned into claws of sorts, and he could also tell that his hair had grown a bit of it now blocked his view. There also seemed to be something that felt to be weighing down behind him, and it felt as if it were attached to his back. He turned around to see what it was and saw nothing, yet when he looked on the ground he could see black feathers scattered across the ground. It couldn't be?! He reached behind himself and plucked at what was on his back, it hurting more than he expected it to. As he looked down into his hand he was now holding another one of those black feathers. "I've grown wings....?! When Katalyst explained what would happen to him after being bitten for some reason, "growing wings" never occurred to him, but now looking back on it, seems like it would have. Brandito wasn't sure how long he had been out for, but in the time that he was his body had gone through much transformation.
Looking up from himself he saw Katalyst who seemed to have been waiting on him to finish what he was doing. He wasn't able to think up what to exactly say to this man now. Should he thank him? Thanking people was something that was a little out of his personality, and something like that would make Brandito who already felt awkward enough as it was at the moment feel even awkwarder. "So Katalyst...you wouldn't happen to have a change of clothes, would you?" Brandito pointed towards his hoodie and shirt which were torn to shreds apparently as a result of his transformation.
